The Nautilus Explorer is a luxury safari boat specializing in pampering small groups of scuba divers on unique diving adventures. Destinations include the giant mantas and dolphins of Socorro Island (Revillagigedo's). The goal is to facilitate unforgettable experiences whether it is unbelievable intimate interaction with pacific manta rays. The beautiful small ship was custom designed and built for this work and is exceptionally comfortable with a wide, strong steel hull stabilized for a great ride. The Nautilus Explorer is very comfortable, quiet, professionally crewed and very safe with the same SOLAS passenger certificate and crewing requirements as the largest ocean-going cruise ships in the world. Socorro Island is big animal diving at its best - dolphins, humpback whales, tuna, whale sharks, hammerheads up to five other species of sharks and, of course, giant manta rays. We call them the 'Friendly Giants' because not only do they measure up to 21 feet across, but they are famous and unique in the world for up-close and intimate interaction with divers. The great thing about Socorro is that no two dives are exactly alike! Whether its a game of acrobatics with a dolphin, hovering in awe as humpback whales swim past or simply being mesmerised by the 3 or 4 giant mantas circling you, you're sure to experience that unforgettable dive that dreams are made of!

Facilities	Ship Accommodations For a small ship, the Nautilus feels "plenty big" (or so our guests tell us). There is ample room to find a quiet place to read, chat, fill out your divelog or journal or work on editing the images you shot that day - whether in the separate dining room, main salon or one of the upper sundecks. And there is nothing like a soak under the stars in the sparkling clear fresh water of our hot tub after a day of diving or exploration. The main salon also serves as the ship's entertainment centre with very "comfy" couches, a great library, a well stocked bar and select evening video showings, presentations and slide shows. Nine lower deck staterooms have side by side beds, private heads with separate shower stall, central air conditioning and measure 90 sq. ft. Two larger upper deck executive suites measure 145 sq. ft with big windows, a wardrobe, desk and outside doors. The only bunk beds onboard are in the dorm. Max. 24 guests can book the Socorra liveaboard cruises on board the Nautilus Explorer - enough space for everyone.
